This week, the BUCKS got out of the city for their community service and volunteered at a horse rescue in Burleson, TX. This horse rescue is operated by a family who took their love for horses to the next level by establishing a home for horses that have been abandoned, neglected, and/or abused.
The BUCKS helped feed, groom and tidy up the pastures where these animals are being cared for and in some cases...nursed back to health. Most of these horses may be adopted by responsible horse lovers for a relatively small adoption fee. You can also contact your local humane society for other opportunities to get involved and help.

For Fun and Fellowship, the BUCKS were taken to the Dallas Zoo and then treated to brunch at a nearby Waffle House.
